* A taste of home for Dyfan in hospital.
The Llangollen teenager lying badly injured in a Chinese hospital has been finally able to tuck into his favourite food, thanks to a thoughtful mate.
Dyfan Hughes, 18, sustained injuries to his legs, neck and scalp when he was involved in a collision with a lorry as he and his two friends, who together form the Westheads, were on the Chinese leg of their 10,000-mile charity cycling journey to Thailand three weeks ago.
Since then - with is parents by his bedside - he has been making steady progress at a hospital in the city of Chegdu.
His 19-year-old pedalling mates, Louis Dennis from Garth and James Thomas from Wrexham, are staying with him during his recovery and doing their best to cheer him up.
And their latest video update shows this has been done in fine style after he was supplied with a hot bowlful of his favourite grub.
Louis explains in the film: "Dyf has been bedbound in hospital unable to move for about three weeks now so I've brought him in a little present today .... Heinz Baked Beans, his favourite food."
The camera then tracks him as he takes the beans to a market cafe he's been using where they open up the tin and pop the contents into the microwave.
Back at the hospital we see Dyfan being handed the steaming bowl of goodies and tucking in with the words: "Oooh, that's brilliant. Oh, my goodness, one of my favourite pieces of food back home."
So she won't feel left out, the two lads then offer Dyfan's nurse carer, Auntie Zhu, a spoonful of the beans "for the first time in her life" and we see her smile as she samples a few spoonfuls.
The three lads have been making their cycling odyssey in memory of Tony Edge, the father of their friend Harrison, who died following a heart attack in 2024 and raising money for the British Heart Foundation along the way, so far notching up over £50,000.
