* Rick Astley opens Live at Llangollen Pavilion 2026 in fine style.
Evergreen Pop king Rick Astley brilliantly kicked off another huge summer of live music in Llangollen last night (Wednesday).
The BRIT award winner was the perfect choice to open TK Maxx presents Live At Llangollen Pavilion, delivering a sensational show, packed with hits from across his chart-topping career, much to the delight of thousands of excited fans.
Opening with his 2010 hit Lights Out, Rick and his band played fan favourites Cry For Help, Whenever You Need Somebody, Dance, Raindrops, Angels On My Side, Keep Singing, Together Forever and Highway To Hell, with Rick taking to the drums for the AC/DC classic.
The crowd were treated to a sing-along finale of the iconic Never Going To Give You Up which brilliantly brought the curtain down on a magical opening night.
Joining Rick on the night were double UK chart-toppers Lottery Winners and 80’s inspired pop band Deco.
