At last night's annual meeting of Llangollen Town Council Damon Richards-Gwilliam took over as Town Mayor and became the youngest councillor ever to hold the office.
He replaced Cllr Aled Morris who had served two municipal years in the role.
Elected by her fellow members as Deputy Mayor was Cllr Charlie Jones.
