The Daily Post is reporting today that six wards have been closed at Wrexham Maelor Hospital - used by many people from Llan - after they were hit by the norovirus vomiting bug.
The report says yesterday 35 patients were known to have been affected at the Maelor.
It adds that no patients are currently being transferred in or out of the affected wards, which it says are Bersham, Erddig, Evington, Cunliffe, Bromfield and Morris and which are a mixture of medical and surgical.
Health chiefs are now said to be trying to isolate the source of the outbreak of the bug which usually strikes in winter.
