Llan-based soccer hero is diagnosed with cancer

Former Wrexham, Everton and Wales goalkeeper Dai Davies, who lives in Llangollen, has been diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas.

Aged 72, he is being treated at the Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham.
